Welcome to heidi - the Higher Education Information Database for Institutions.
heidi is a web-based management information service that provides
easy access to a rich source of quantitative data (pdf, 108kb) about higher
education.
heidi is run by the Higher Education Statistics Agency. The service aims to be self-funding and one hundred and forty HE institutions currently subscribe to heidi.
If your HE institution does not currently subscribe to heidi you can take part in a free four week trial of the system. Email heidi@hesa.ac.uk to request a free trial account.

Since the release of heidi3 in the autumn of 2009, development has focused on the fourth major version of heidi (heidi 4), scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2011. heidi 4 intends to deliver significant usability improvements largely derived through a re-design and re-write of the system interface, based on feedback received from heidi users. The release will include;

Re-write heidi using the latest appropriate web application development technologies

New functionality to support the inclusion of Estates Management Statistics (EMS) analysis within heidi
